Caleta de fuste Vlog | February 2023

Since going to Thailand was no longer on the cards for me I decided to have a look for cheap flights to the canary islands instead. It seemed like the only place I'd be getting any warm sunshine at this time of year.
I didnt really have high expectations when it came to which island. I figured wherever was cheap and ideally somewhere I'd not been before. What I didn't expect was to find accommodation for just a hundred and eighty pounds a week, even more surprising was the sixty pounds flight getting there and back.
Arriving at Caleta De Fuste I was not at all disappointed. Palm trees swayed in the warm breeze and the bungalow - although basic - had everything I needed. The resort also had an excellent gym and tennis court. It got me thinking, maybe I should just come here every winter, maybe even buy a camper van and drive down, there seemed to be a few of them just parked up in the street.
Mornings were spent watching the sunrise over the ocean and evenings were spent drinking sangria and walking around the clean and beautiful area of Caleta De Fuste. Definitely somewhere I'd like to go back to. White sandy beaches contrasting with the black volcanic rock. Morracan vibes and even a charismatic looking camel strolling around the beach everyday, who could ask for more.

Hi Jackson just got back yesterday from Caleta loved it nice clean town beaches are beautiful and want to book in February for my birthday are the flights cheaper and everything open in February and anything else hints and tips would be appreciated as was going to book in December for Christmas and all flights for 3 people and a baby we’re coming back dearer than the villa I could have booked behind the bus station near market they wanted a 50 euro a night with roof terrace and three floors pool beautiful but flights were £1200 on all the major airlines Ryanair easyJet etc would rather go when flights are cheaper and spend the rest in the town 🙏

Hello friend, from what I remember my flight was about £60 return per person from Newcastle. I've been looking at flights to the canaries for January and they're looking about the same (around £80 return) I think yours were maybe coming in more expensive because of Christmas. Everything will still be open in February though yeah 😉 It's an all year around resort 👍🏻
