Sf is more expensive than Toronto. Toronto is way colder, but less homeless and if you dont earn big bucks in usa, health care is a huge expense. Totally different places. Toronto is 1m times safer than any usa city.

You pay in California will be atleast 30-40% higher , sometimes even upto as much as 80%. Expenses are on the lower side as Toronto has stupid taxes on goods and services and insurance is very high.

Toronto is one of the most expensive cities in the world. If you want to be a software engineer there are plenty of opportunities in india, you don't need to come to Canada does it behind a computer. There's just too many Indians who want to be software engineer in Canada not enough jobs. If you want to come to Canada then you need to your first job nurse truck driving construction hotel restaurant cook chef if you don't want to do one of these jobs to get your permanent residency then don't come here. But Canada doesn't need software developers there's just too many Indians and you can do that job from India plus you're not going to like canada, too cold too expensive and you refuse to do survival job

@@donkeydesiamericanprofessor there are other aspects you didn't consider though. 5 (these days even four) years is all it takes to get Canadian citizenship and that will enable you to get a job in STEM fields in USA under NAFTA/USMCA 2.0 through TN visa. You don't need a lottery nor lawyer. Once you get a job offer you can apply at POE. what more you can work for more than one employers. Work 10 years and make investments and go back easier that way.

There are over 2 million Indians who have registered with ircc but Canada only invites 400,000 and most Indians don't have over 700 points, so 70% of Indians are rejected, they don't have work experience in India, they don't have Canada education they don't have work experience in Canada they have poor english, they don't speak French especially they don't speak French, they are not a manager, and they're not applying for nurse construction hotel restaurant cook chef truck driver job. They apply for computer software support, there's just too many Indians not enough jobs. There are other aspects you didn't consider, it's a six-year backlog for Indians for Canada compared to Mexico you can start the immigration process immediately and with Mexican citizenship you get work visa for America and Mexico quality of life is better than India and Mexico education ranks higher than IIT Bombay Mexico weather is warmer than Canada and better than India, and Mexico is five times larger than canada, Canada is small, small economy small population, Mexico has more manufacturing than Canada and Mexico manufacturing is expanding around the world competing with china. There are many many Indian companies in China TCS Infosys HCL hexaware wipro, tech mahindra, Mahindra agriculture farm tractors, ARB transmission PMP automotive, Dr Reddy, Sun pharma RX, your long-term growth opportunity is Mexico citizenship and work visa for America. There are other aspects you didn't consider

I don't know about Leamington but Ontario is fine. Toronto Ontario is a big booming city with good infrastructure. Climate in Canada is cold. Winter is 6 months with snow for 4 months. Summer is getting hotter. Go if you are willing to live outside your home land. You can later move to USA to warmer climate though Green Card is difficult to get.
