At first, it was bosco and mater dei were the only two teams that could beat each other within their own respective CIF league. Then they were the only two teams that could beat each other in so cal, then within the state of CA, now it appears this is the case nationally. They keep separating themselves from the top teams in other states every year more and more. No other teams in the nation can get their number now. They are truly in a league of their own now.

If we being serious u said compete like they Sta was no match for them y’all have two teams in Cali where as in south Florida we have multiple ranked school all within 30 minutes of each other Columbus central Chaminade heritage and Sta and we have other good teams and nobody in south Florida thought Sta was the best team they duck the top teams in Florida

The quality of players Bosco & Mater Dei get come from really great youth football programs that play the best competition and travel . Coaching also has to be a big factor with developing these talented High School athletes. Both Mater Dei and Bosco have really good coaching staffs . Other programs have great athletes too but the coaching isn’t that great .
