Just got a Calibra 2.0 16v as second car. Not modified much. A modest rear spoiler and some different wheels, and decatted exhaust, that's all. Absolutely love it!

It's a great car, maybe more appriciated in the future. The 0.26 CD is the same as the current Nissan GTR for instance, and they brag about that, while the Calibra had it allready..

great video. nice to see the 3rd stoplight. we never had one in europe. i think. my two calibras did not. the first one was an italian version and the second one is still a german one (nearly 300.000miles)

and it much like the Torana Hatchbacks which were it's predecessors excluding the 1986-88 piazza for a minute should have done better.unlike those it didn't come with a 6 or v8 but the power capacity provided you stuck to the manual or the later v6 automatics was proof it didn't need the extra cc's.

This car started a good period for Holden-selling Opels rather than something else already on the market that had a Holden badge glued on hastily.

nice cars.i saw one advertised recently a low mileage 1993 8 valve automatic that if i could afford it i would buy,but sadly it was a private sale car.i seriously want one of the last of them in an automatic if one exists.

i am trying to find an automatic from just before they stopped importing them.it would be a lovely car.had it not been for the small suv invasion it might have survived.values for these are still good to get a nice one for about ten grand.

@SLiDEnl Winter update, calibra still working like a charm, come rain or snow, when u see other cars slipping and gliding through the streets you'll be happily driving past them with full 4x4 grip. *nod* calibra forever.
