Calibrate the hands and set the time on Casio GA-100 G-Shock

Analog hands and Digital display not matching? Watch is not showing the correct time? Fix everything and adjust your watch properly by following these easy steps.
A mismatch between analog hands and digital display occurs when:
1) The battery is replaced.
2) The battery becomes weak and needs replacement.
3) If the watch is subjected to strong magnetic fields.
All steps must be completed while the watch is in the normal time mode and not while being on chronograph or alarm or anything else.
The analog hands are adjusted according to the digital readings, so we first have to match the digital with the analog hands.

3:53 Adjust the date
▶ We keep depressed the lower right (LR) button until the watch enters the hands alignment mode, indicated by a beep and showing H-SET on the right part of the screen.
At this point we can immediately set the small hand to the 12 o'clock position, again by pressing the LR button. This hand is only advancing forward and by one step at a time.
Then we press the lower left (LL) button to toggle to setting the hour & minute hands.
With the LR button the hands are advancing forward, and with the upper right (UR) backwards. Keeping depressed any of the two buttons advances fast forward or backwards accordingly. To stop the fast advance we press again any one of the two buttons.
Set both at 12 o'clock and we are done with calibrating analog with digital.
Exit by pressing the upper left button (UL).
▶ We enter the Time-setting-mode by keeping depressed the UL button until we hear the beep tone and the time zone starts flashing. We adjust whatever is currently flashing with the LR and UR buttons and move to the next with the LL button. Again we exit by pressing the UL button.
Setting cycle is ▶ City Code ▶ DST ▶ 12/24 Hour ▶ Seconds ▶ Hour ▶ Minutes ▶ Year ▶ Month ▶ Date ▶ LT1 (Light Duration)

UR = Upper Right
UL = Upper Left
LR = Lower Right
LL = Lower Left

I'm OK getting the small hand pointing to 12 o' clock but when using the upper or lower right buttons to adjust the main hands, pressing long or short only moves the hands one point instead of the continuous movement shown in the video. An idea what I'm doing wrong?

If you keep the button pressed continuously, the hands will start moving fast until you press one of them again. This does not apply for the small hand as it only moves one step at the time and only forward. If there is not a continuous movement despite that, maybe the battery is getting weak.

On my watch the time is set correctly, but the upper needle that calibrates the time goes to the “over” point after calibrating, it doesnt go back to 0. Do u know how to fix this?

When you follow the instructions, make sure that you set the small hand (at 12 o,clock position) exactly at the point where it writes "50". This hand goes only forward , so you can only move it with the lower right button and it only moves one step at a time. If you already did that it could be a weak battery problem.

IF I understand correctly, you are facing the following issue: "The small hand at 12 when adjusted is not "sitting" precisely at the index point but is always a bit off-position. Each pressing on the push-button is moving the small hand one step further, but each and every step is a bit off on the index point of the dial." Solution: Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do on your part, you need to take it to a qualified watch repairer to open the watch, manually remove the hand and put it on the exact position. The same applies about the main hands displaying the time.

Bro I've been facing problem, I've same model, but the needles of minute hand and small dia has gotten slower. Not moving continuosly while resetting. It's moving with the speed of "seconds" hand of ordinary watches. Also the button only work if I press them for 2 seconds😟

It could be due to a variety of reasons, but the most probable is that your watch needs a new battery. (A battery problem could also be the reason for the initial misalignment of the hands.) To check if it is a battery problem: press the button for light (upper right), if the light is bright then battery is ok, if it is weak or even not lighting up, then it is a battery problem. In any case you should take your watch to a watch repairer.

@@yoasta153 If you are going to do it by yourself, make sure to follow the instructions found in the sticker inside, that is, to short-circuit the AC with the surface on top of it...and pay attention to the back gasket.
