You can calibrate your Wireless Carbon Dioxide Sensor whenever it is giving unreasonable readings, such as outside the range of about 300-500 ppm for fresh air. Since fresh air has an approximate CO2 concentration of 400 ppm, it's used as the calibration standard for convenience. Since most uses of the sensor in education look at changes in CO2 concentration, this approximate calibration technique in appropriate for most applications.
