First of all i make configuration, after i perform bench calibration. New transmitter is mostly ok we configure in field or lab and directly installed, but for learing purpose i make this video how we can configure the transmitter and check the health of new transmitter even old one. Calibration of Absolute gauge or transmitter has some procudure. You need to know as below: 1) Ambient temperature & Humidity of working environment. 2) UUT resolution 3) UUT Accuracy 4) UUT Range 5) UUT Unit Then 6) Ref Resolution 7) Ref Accuracy 8) Test Uncertainty Ratio 4:1 / 2:1 Etc. 9) Barometer Before performing any calibration, ensure the Reference instrument has been corrected, before applying the actual pressure to UUT. Reading has to taken three cycles up/down and take average readings. Calculate the standard deviation and hysteresis. You should have you budget table, and apply all your components for REF and UUT and come out with expanded uncertainty value as per UUT unit. This is called calibration process. The one you did is just verification only.

For calibration of absolute gauge or transmitter it is important to know ambient temperature and pressure i agreed but mostly industries when we are performing the calibration we perform in labs where normal working environment(temperature & Pressure) also these things you are explaining UUT (unit under test) resolution, accuracy, range and other thing for only special calibration labs where transmitters are assembled or where have master equipment's. In my topic i perform calibration by changing the ranges of transmitter and checking the response of transmitter. One more thing i explained in video if you have vacuum pump you create perfect vacuum and check the response of transmitter, also you can make zero trim if you need. @@kumaresanmuniandy208
