Years ago I designed and built Aluminum power boats for numerous years. I know how they are built and exactly WHAT to look for when they plane so as to determine how seaworthy they are. I CLEARLY see that this vessel is a JOY to behold. It is a magnificently designed and meticulously built hull. A beautiful MONOHEDRON HULL if ever there was one. I have been in most of the aluminum boat shops on the coast of B.C. (Aside from Broadwater) There is an argument that Walker could be building the highest quality Aluminum boats in the world. There are companies out of australia and New zealand as well, that are definitely in that argument. But make no bones about it, quality with these Walker boats is not an issue. Very well built boats.

Seems to be zero rod holders on the entire boat. Somewhat concerning there is no safe way to reach the windlass, no bow rail, no non skid, or at a minimum an access hatch from the cuddy. Imagine having to get on that slick bow in any conditions to mess with the anchor. Good cruiser day boat, sure. Fishing boat, no way. Also, stop it with the cleats on the top of the gunwale. No serious fishing vessel would install cleats on the topside of the gunwale.

Just watched "Jaws" with my husband and son. This boat is shaped a bit like the "Orca," but it was wooden. .. Maybe that's why my husband likes a covered "walk-around" cabin, with railings all around, lol. .. Cute boat here, though!

Could this 2021 Walker Coastal Sport 29, the rear open cockpit on port side hull, be upgraded or modified? Firstly with a Wheelchair loading ramp side hatchway installed, which folds downwards and outwards, with the use of bottom mounted heavy duty hinges and with support chains on either side of the wheelchair loading ramp side hatchway, maybe with remote-controlled powered operated winches too. Along with a slide out extended wheelchair ramp,which is fitted to the inside the Wheelchair loading ramp side hatchway. So giving you extra reach to a floating pontoon or docksides, or river bank etc too. Though could the enclose cabin hatch doorway, be equally enlarge for wheelchair access too? Also with a Wheelchair threshold access, to get in and out of the enclosed cabin. As well as interior changes necessary for Wheelchair access and secure lock down points installed for a wheelchair too. Equally installing and fitting extra safety grab rails, both externally and internally too, around the craft cockpit area and cabin area too? Similarly could an aluminium hard top be installed over the aft open cockpit area, with this new hard top coming with solar electric panels and mini wind turbine fitted too, which they recharging onboard new and extra battery pack too? As could you replace one of Yamaha outboard engines, with an Outboard Electric Motor, so you have the option of silent cruising option at speeds upto 10 Knots for upto 3 or 4 hours? While still having one petrol or diesel outboard engine, to give you long range cruising and speed of upto 20 Knots? Also are there custom boat trailer available, for this Walker Coastal Sports 29? Or would a longer and larger Walker Coastal boat, be more suitable for conversion as a disabled friendly day or over-night maybe weekend fishing / sightseeing boat, that can be trailered too?

Also could the likes of a small fridge and separate small freezer draws be installed, along with fitting a hot water drinks machine, as well as a small three in one Microwave Air Fryer & Oven/grill too, as there is already a lot of storage cupboards and draws provided. For a long day out or over-night trips or stops away from the marina etc? Has a boat self-right inflation system, ever been fitted to a Walker Coastal Boat, or could one be installed at the stern? Equally with man over board emergency equipment fitted, similarly fitted with an automatic deployable life-raft canister too? Similarly could the aluminium hull, be fitted with bow, keel and side hull and stern, all round rubber bumper around and mooring safety strip’s too? Also foredeck aluminium tubular safety rails, be fitted around the bow and back to the front of the cabin too, with safety grab rails along the cabin external roof fitted as well? Maybe thinking of installing a small bow electric-powered side thrust unit too? Or would it be better to contact Walker Coastal Boats direct, over a customised built craft for disabled owner and passengers or guests too?
