It was promoted through the victorian groups - Melbourne Nerf Wars, Melbourne League of Foam, Melbourne Humans vs Zombies, Wasteland wars. Likely if there's another modding event it'll be promoted through those groups

yeah, they're facebook groups with the exception of Wasteland wars (based in Bendigo and Wallan) which is now predominantly discord based. HvZ is in Fawkner Park in South Yarra, MLF has events in Ruffey Lake Park in Manningham and Sniper's Den (a paintball field in Heatherton), MNW also usually holds events in Sniper's den

That left handed charging handle on Harrison's pneumatic Raptorstrike is turning out to be a big advantage. His Raptorstrike and my Alphahawk both finished about the same time and became staples at MLF wars. I've always thought I'll be easily able to overwhelm him since my Alphahawk is hopper-feed semi auto, but Harrison has so far being able to consistantly put out a scary rate of fire with that Raptorstrike thanks to being magfeed and that charging handle End result is one blaster with short bursts of high RoF with downtime in between, against a blaster with sustained decent RoF. Our two blasters end up being two roughly equally matched orange LONGBOIs in games.
