It’s my mom’s birthday so we wanted to go out of town to celebrate. It’s also my baby’s first out of town trip. Since there’s a pandemic going on, we wanted to go to a place that isn’t crowded. So Calico Ghost Town came to mind. Calico is an old West mining town that has been around since 1881 and was abandoned in the mid-1890s after silver lost its value. They have a train ride that will take you around town, camping grounds and old mines but were not open when we went there maybe because of the pandemic. There were not a lot of people when we went there so it is such a good place to go during this time because it’s an open field and you can socially distance. Still, wear your masks when going! Thanks for watching.
