For some reason I never thought before about the difficulty of stepping a mast when the crane is fixed on land and the boat is rocking and rolling around in the water. Glad I'm not the one doing it. I hope you put some "goodies" in the back of the lockers so that someday you will find nice surprises as the lockers empty.

It is definitely smart to have a good quality yard deal with the mast stepping, quite a lot of big heavy equipment moving around! It's fun to watch them work with the mast

Hi guys, I’m really enjoying your videos have only just found you and binge watched a stack watching your style and content develop. I only have my mast back upright after a 5 month wait for a major repair. The boat is certainly diffetent without the stick. I live in Sydney harbour onboard and explored the spots I couldn’t go before. Man it’s good to be sailing again. Great stuff guys, you have another subscriber.

Happy New Year! I'm glad you guys mentioned a rough date in your video (July). Makes it a bit easier to handle the time warp differences when you're in Annapolis, Delos is in Maine, and yet I watched both boats arrive back in Annapolis together on MJ Sailing (October I think). Cheers!

We’ve been trying to mention the date as we are a bit behind lol 😂. Think the next episode will start our Maine content :) Kinda funny all the overlapping sailing channels :) it was so good to catch up with Mj after not seeing each other for a few years

I was waiting to see Grace sitting in a rocking chair on top of the bimini. 😊 Perhaps you should consider shortening Grace's shopping list or getting a longer boat... Did you back fish the radio antenna and radar cables when you pulled the mast and fish them again when the mast went back in? Happy New Year and safe travels! ⛵😷
@CalicoSkiesSailing4 жыл бұрын
😂😂 paaa we are out of water!! lol Yep the radar, wind instruments, mast lights and vhf cable all had to be re-attached at the base of the mast when we re stepped. You can see the white cabling bundle as the mast passes over the deck. Happy new years to you as well!
