I just realized that Jay Anthony Franke ("Jake") was the voice of both JC and Paul Denton in Deus Ex, aka one of the best games ever made. I knew I recognized him/his voice from something. What an absolute legend.

because youll have a 10 times better chance of getting struck by lighting 3 times and winning the lotto the next day then having the differential falling out of the car while its starting up.

I think the episode where Sam drives badly is racist. But I didn't even know that was even a stereotypes until I grew older. I wanted to investigate if there was any basis in truth to how asian's are bad drivers. There is not.
@sifugurusensei5 жыл бұрын
There are a few borderline racist ep on this show which is funny considering it was one of the few show with multi racial characters. How this show really changed throughout. First, it was family centric show about a white family. Then it was all about the focus of the band with one black guy. Then it was with an asian girl and later with a latina manager/friend. But it never bothered me since tv shows had always been written by ignorant people.

@@sifugurusensei eh not really, it's actually common for Asians to have difficulty driving in the states as overseas in many Asian countries driving laws are much more lax and you pretty much have to drive fast and aggressively just to survive and that's a difficult mentality to get out of for many Asians that immigrate to the west. Sam may not have driven before leaving Hong Kong but even just being in the car withs someone who is driving like mad will instill that mentality in you.
