S 5 E 1 ~ "Stand by Your Man" ~ September 7, 1996 ~ Tiffani encourages Jake to get a job fixing motorcycles at a mechanic's shop, but Lorena and Sam plant worries in her head that he's cheating on her with his attractive female boss. Meanwhile, Sly and Tony try to catch Mark doing something embarrassing on video.

I will say that this show had the most realistic ending when Jake wanted to continue music and everyone else was like, I just did this for some money in high school. So he and Tiffani broke up because she said she didn't see how they could continue seeing each other when she went to school in Hawaii or something like that.

Not really.. Tony even had issues with his dad over being a musician. They just sacrificed the other characters to prop Jake. They even kicked out the original Main character Matt.

Yeah, but the actors themselves wanted to leave. In case of Brently, there were creative differences on how they wanted Matt to be. I suspect they wanted Matt to be like Mark.

@@sifugurusensei The powers that be in my opinion really made it seem like they didn't want Brent on the show during the second season because Matt\Brent really wasn't given much to do during Season 2 and Jay Anthony\Jake became the male lead on the show. I wasn't surprised that Brent left "California Dreams."

I never understood why the girls were always trying to put in doubt in Tiffani about Jake, it mostly came from Sam. Sam never did that to Lorena when she was with Jake. I love Tiffani and Jake together, wasn't a fan of him and Lorena nor when they were pairing him up with Jenny. Jenny and him were too much alike. Lorena was getting him to do things for her that he didnt wanna do just by giving him a kiss. Tiff and him paired up good cause they were opposites. The girl next door with the bad boy.

That’s exactly why Sam was always accusing Jake of cheating because they were opposites. She was sweet and innocent and Jake was so macho and she didn’t think that he could just be in love with one girl
