We're always on the lookout for new ones! It does seem like a never ending quest... which is why we had to quit our jobs 😉

Thanks we're going mid August and it's good to see the drought hasn't cut the flow

Wait when did you film this

A couple of them were running cold but there is plenty of hot water to be enjoyed still!

We were there in May.

Droughts never affect the geothermal Hotsprings, earthquakes do tho . They tend to change the water flo in the tubs & temp .

The hot springs look amazing (except for Dirty Socks) and I m sure years ago I was in one of those!

They are pretty good! Dirty sock definitely was a bust though. You win some and lose some in the hot game for sure......but it's all part of the adventure.

I am planning a trip to this particular area in mid June ' 23 and I am curious which ones you found to be the least busy (that were worth checking out). Thank you for your time and effort!

Thanks for watching! We've never been in summer (that I can remember) but they're all pretty busy these days. We always try to get there early in the morning before everyone else is awake. It helps us avoid the party crowd too.

Being from Maryland, the crab pot has me homesick for some Chesapeake Blues, crabs that is.

Oooh, now that you mention it, that does sound good!

Currently in Maryland (from Connecticut) heading south to OBX and had the same thought about the Chesapeake crab pots!

The hot springs that is 11 minutes in ... I don't know that one. I thought I knew all the hot springs in that area. That one is a new one to me. Could you provide the coordinates or give a hint to where that one is? Does it have a name? I am planning a trip up there in a couple weeks. I know it's not hilltop, Willie's, crab cooker, sheperd, rock tub or little hot creek. Thanks!!!!!

Hi Greg. Thank you for watching! It does have a name and I can provide a hint.....it's near hilltop. I try not to share names of some of the lesser known ones since the internet has been ruining the hot spring experience for a while now......and the fun of exploring to find them. Please consider joining our Patreon where we are building out camp and hot spring maps (pinned locations) and doing spotlight videos on some of our favorites. www.patreon.com/drifterjourney

@@DrifterJourney I figured it out. I knew of that one and searched that area for it but didn't find it. I will find it this time! Thanks for the hint!

@@gregkendall3559 sweet! Let us know what you think. I don't think it gets used nearly as much as the others so you might luck out solo......and it has hot when we were there! It isn't as fancy though.
