I think the environmental folks have to back off on this one. Yes we need lots of fresh water flushing through the delta and bay, however in storm conditions with heavy run off I don’t think the amounts would get diverted would have significant impact. I know, I know, they would prefer to spend millions on a study. Just go to the bay model, think about for half an hour and be done already.
