Chris Richardson, president of Richardson Properties, a Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate in San Luis Obispo, said luxury homebuyers have been zeroing in on California’s Central Coast, where they can find prices that are 25% to 40% of what comparable homes would cost in in L.A. or the San Francisco Bay Area.
