Thank you. After I turned 65, when receiving a check from 401k, is that regarded as withdraw or distribution? Does it count towards income when it comes to Medi-Cal income qualification?

With a trust can you elect one child to get the house and pay the remaining siblings? I’m thinking of prop 13. If the house is transfer by a trust to multiple children and most of the children would rather receive a cash instead of keeping the property. Will the transfer be treated as a sale? Or can the child/children that keep the house keep prop 13 tax basis?
