California Waste Solutions | Volvo WXLL Heil Rapid Rail Co-Collector Garbage Truck

This is the last video I have of the last remaining Heil Rapid Rail that California Waste Solutions inherited from Norcal Waste Systems of San Jose. The couple of times I managed to film this truck was on pure dumb luck, and I'm guessing attempts to find this truck by other filmers were proven unsuccessful. This truck in the last few years has gone out maybe only a handful of times when all of the other trucks were being used or were down for maintenance. They would run down the entire inventory of trucks, including full sized McNeilus Autoreaches and the four other Rapid Rails to send onto this route before they'd send this truck out.
The first time I had filmed this truck, it had an issue where the grippers wouldn't open when commanded to after the hydraulic fluid had heated up. When I found it on this occasion, the truck was operating normally until the clouds subsided and the temperature increased drastically. A new problem arose where the arm would take an unbelievable time to lower, sometimes taking more than a minute to lower all the way. After the last few clips in the video, the arm would continuously do this with the driver still having multiple streets left to do after this clip. I believe the driver finished this townhome complex and headed back to the yard afterwards to find another truck to drive.
Nowadays, this truck is still just sitting in the yard and I believe it still ran on very rare occasions until recently because it hadn't been towed out of the yard yet and it received a new billboard and DOT markings. However I suspect this truck is just being parted out to keep the other Rapid Rails afloat until they also go under.
