Lived in Malibu in the ‘80’s in Encinal Canyon. Experienced one in 1993. Took the kids to a friends in Thousand Oaks. Hubby stayed behind. You could see the fire on the mountain from Thousand Oaks. After we moved our old cabin was finally consumed by yet another fire. Our neighbors Rock House survived.

Seems like they start with a crazy looking blue beam that comes out of the sky and they get so hot they melt aluminum rims and aluminum motor blocks 🤔🧐🤔🤔 just like the ones in lahina Hawaii! I seem to recall this happening every 5 years like clockwork. Im a northern Cali raised guy and I can tell you the land these people deem desirable is actually the most gawd awful land for a home. Malab7 ahould have long ago ser itself up to avoid burning, but that would mean the millionaires had to pay up, not the taxpayers, and you see the result. Make it a law that they dont need fire insurance there and insurers dont need to pay out for Malibu.
