I usually associate wild fires with periods during/towards the end of hot/dry Summers, not during Winter...but of course it's LA when it's relatively warm still and if no rain either then that says it all

Gotta love our Mayor, who decides to cut our Fire budget and give it to the LAPD instead. How about we send those 🐷 to the fire lines? I’m sick of seeing them just standing around doing nothing.

Unless there are structures to defend, often times they will let the hills burn. It seems crazy, but it also prevents fires in the future.
