I'm curious to learn why the seven-seat variety cannot have the 2nd row seats rotated; can one order a six-seater and buy an extra seat from the parts department? Might an aftermarket retailer supply a mechanism to rotate the front seats? It's equally odd that rear door mounted bike carriers cannot be fitted, can one order a vehicle without a diffuser getting in the way.

1st impressions (as a T6 caravelle exec owner using it very much as a family multivan do everything go everywhere vehicle/day van/occasional camper van) good that the overall height is down slightly as with roof rails I do struggle with the occasional car park. Rear spoiler looks good but makes it totally impractical for the way we use ours: carrying a family's worth of bikes whilst towing a caravan... New seats: brilliant that they are all separate, much more flexible and realistic to actually lift in and out (took husband + me + 2 x teenage sons to shift our rear bench when we needed it out one day!) but arm rests! Oh dear my boys love having an arm rest each side, always a fight for those coveted centre row seats! if the seat belts are in the pillars rather than on the seats does that mean that there's no option for rear airbags? Fabulous pan roof, though would make sleeping in it (occasional camper style) a bit awkward... One massive benefit until now has been that the multivan is the same as the van/camper version with different interior fittings. I wonder whether accessory, etc. manufacturers will modify their ranges to now accommodate differences between camper vans and multi vans or whether the platform departure now moves the multivan into just big car territory i.e. a bit away from the infinitely adaptable flexibility that made it what it is... Hello, what does actually the auxiliary heater as an extra option do because I see there is already that mentioned in the standard equipment?

For 1.4 e-hybrid, how long it takes to charge up using 3-pin plug, and how long it take to use the wall box to charge it up?

About 3 hours for wall box. 5 hours for 3-pin plug.

Great video. The brochure mentions that the Style has enhanced noise insulation - do you notice any difference between the Life and the Style on that front when driving?

Hi Chris, does it mean there is no way we can get the 2nd row sitting face backwards with the 7 seat configuration? Why is VW doing these sort of things?

I thought it was very stupid, but the other day I actually saw that as an option on the Swedish Volkswagen website. I could chose 6 seats facing forward, 6 seats with rotatable seats in the 2nd row, 7 seats facing forward, or 7 seats with rotatable seats in the 2nd row.

As a Limited Company VAT registered will you be able to reclaim it back on the Multivan?

It depends on your main usage. Speak to your dealer before ordering and they will be able to give you the best info.

Great vehicle but very pricey and too high for European underground carparks. I think the Citroen SpaceTourer is a better option and it's very frugal on petrol, although it's a different kind of car in many ways.

I'm surprised that ~80mm makes that much of a difference! Agree that they're different in many ways, but I'd always say to choose what meets your requirements most.

Given the middle seat slides all the way forward, can you fit a second single middle seat to make it an 8 seater (having removed the table)? Obviously you'd have to source one and deal with insurance etc etc - but is it physically possible?

I thought the middle seat with a seatbelt in the 3rd row could be reversed. 😮
