Great video Chris, thanks! Makes the configurator less of a confuserator! We’ve not gone for the Pro Media purely on the basis that £678 is a lot of money for a slightly bigger screen, plus I actually prefer a physical volume button. Also, some roof bellow colours aren’t available with certain paint colours as we found out! Thanks again!

Do the T6.1 California’s have I so fix points for child seats? Also do you think VW will ever make a long wheel based version?

Very useful video, the configurator can be a minefield/exercise in interpreting the mind of it’s designer! Some options, like the hi viz are a total joke and makes potential buyers very wary of everything else but others are reasonable value and sensible. Have had traffic sign recognition on our Volvo since 2013 so really miss it on my T6, very handy as a double check when you’re in outskirts of town and limit is constantly changing. Trailer assist is an Interesting option but you’d get several hours of expert instruction for that and if anyone needed to take their +E to tow anything over 750kg I suspect they’d be required to perform the manoeuvres manually anyway... btw have a trailer but I’m miles away; wireless camera on the rear of that is incredibly handy when towing alone ;-)

Hi later on this year I am looking at my first vw camper. I have a vw Commercial van dealership on my doorstep here in cleckheaton West yorkshire. Can I ask that dealership to make me a camper van all mod cons from their stock. Am getting compensation through from a work related accident last July 2020.I now have a titanium plate 3 screws in my right wrist and 6 screws holding my wrist together. Am 59 years old and want to get back into touring. Thank you.

Hi Julian, you can definitely ask them for a quote with anything you need yes. Whether they're able to do it with vehicles they have in stock depends on what they have available, they may still need to get you a factory order.
