A skull was also in the darker setting, with the candles. Throwing some ideas out: Irene was using the paper skull she was cutting maybe as like some spell since spells were mentioned in the song. And it was used to get into Seulgi's mind? Seulgi had a gun in the candles and skull scene. Maybe to fend off Irene?????? Or maybe just cuz Seulgi is also a little monster saying "monster lives forever" as if intimidating you. But we only saw Irene approaching when Seulgi was sleeping. And the dance could be a representation of Irene controlling seulgi? She is behind her, and the one move where she puts her hands by Seulgi's head is like representing how she is in Seulgi's mind. And Irene had the FX effect on her face of a monster. So All signs point to Irene being the monster coming at Seulgi? EDIT: The lyric about a shining light casting two shadows , is followed by a lyric about something awakening in her. And seulgi crawled to a waiting Irene, as if Irene is the monster to Seulgi. But in the bed scene their beds are adjacent/conjoined as if they are conjoined shadows of each other. *FINAL ANALYSIS* Monster irene enticed Seulgi, awakening her monster, making them conjoined shadows/monsters, and now they are enticing us. The steamy scenes are them enticing us? *bonus*: this might be a stretch lmao, but the scene with mosaic windows is like a church. Buildings with mosaic like that is usually a church. It might have been used to connect with spells like some satan shit, OR, now this is a stretttccchhh, it could be because they are depicting lesbian activity and so they are being monsters in the churches eyes.
