to give context why Spicy is a lot different from their previous mvs, they had a comeback before this which is after Savage, which is Girls. The Girls mv showed that they defeated the Black Mamba. And for this comeback, they had a pre-release mv Welcome to My World, where the members and Naevis arrived in the real world. That's why for the Spicy mv, it's less AI/sci-fi concept, except for some glitches in the reality

Savage is also my favorite from Aespa, I kept it on repeat for a looooong time. I'm planing to dive more into them since they are coming to my country this year (finally a girl group!!!! Idk what kpop companies have against latim america). If you intend to do a part 2: Ilusion is a must watch from them, I love the choreography and I'm pretty sure you would love it too. I think Spicy has a different concept because in the MV of Girls they defeated Black mamba so I guess that's why they came up with this comeback but so far it's amazing and my fav album from them.

No actually, it's still kind of part of the concept. Because as you can see in the Spicy mv, there are some glitches and that's supposed to represent how they're all back in their world but it has some glitches due to traveling to a bunch of different worlds or defeating the Black Mamba. So it fits the concept but mainly only the scenes fit rather than the actual music.

Have you ever watched 'Girls' MV? Black Mamba, the virtual villain died in 'Girls' MV. So, there isn't any villain in 'Spicy' MV. In 'Welcome to MY World' MV, Naevis, the virtual guardian angel, entered the real world. The upcoming stories will be more real world centered.

Aespa's entire 2nd mini album (Girls) was fire! Too bad they didn't release the 3rd quickly enough too keep the hype going strong, because now they have XG and New Jeans to compete with. 4th gen K-pop has a lot of talent and there are no clear runaways like BlackPink or Twice in 3rd gen.

They have a great b-side tracks but I'll recommend dream come true life's too short lucid dream ICONIC illusion lingo ICU and the latest album - welcome to my world, salty & sweet, thirsty, i'm unhappy, 'til we meet again and the title that u missed is girls (it is a title song after savage and before spicy : the lore is about a fight song between aespa and black mamba) and the track that is an anthem of aespa is aenergy : told about member's power) Finally, if u loved about aespa's lore. They have a short series "SMCU" (10-20 minutes) on KZbin (series that have a storytelling about aespa , ae , alter ego and black mamba) They have 3 episodes now. Aespa is probably one of my ult girl groups tbh. They aren't just another SM group though, they are very unique. Anyway, I hope some point you listen to a K-pop group called Blackswan. They are currently the only active K-pop group with no Korean members. Their members are African, Brazilian, Indian and American. They recently had a comeback with this lineup called 'Karma'. Originally, they had 3 Korean members but they left and now it is an international K-pop group. Their title tracks out now are called 'Tonight', 'Close To Me' and as already mentioned 'Karma'. They are amazing, but people sleep on them simply cause they aren't all Korean/Asian. P.S.S I love you guys, even as a Non-Binary AMAB Person, I love you girls so much!!! Lesbians are the nicest people I know!!! Sorry for ranting-
