he throws off his back foot a lot. other than that he looks like he'll be a stud. incredible accuracy (both standing still and on the run) and pretty good arm strength and great athleticism.

BroncosX, what qb besides Big Ben or Tom Brady had immediate timing when they came to the NFL? Barkley has an incredible arm with great accuracy, better than Cutler did from what I can see. He has great vision, mobility in the pocket and a sense of what is behind him during a blitz. He's not impulsive and he's pretty bright. He is clearly ready to be drafted and I believe he'll go. You can't deny that he's the best qb from USC since Palmer.

His mobility reminds me of McNabb, and his mechanics remind me of Favre. I like his accuracy and his ability to move in the pocket. A couple of criticisms I have is that his timing was a little off on some of these throws and he needs to hang in the pocket longer. He looks promising and I'll pay a lot of attention to him this next season.

He looks good, but lacks ideal height, he'll need to improve a bit with his deep throws and release but I still see him in the top 10 based on accuracy, potential and smarts.

There are a few things Barkley has to improve on before he goes out for the NFL. The key in the NFL is timing above all else and on some throws Barkley is too late.

@oopopp he can win heisman, set all usc records, and win national title. we only lose 2 starters this year, our 2 DT's. And this year we had 8 starting freshman on our team this year, including all 3 linebackers. So next year we will be insanely good, give me a reason why usc couldn't win a national title?

@DragonsKing91 You can't expect all these QB entering the league to to be the next Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Statistically it's not possible. And why so critical of USC's QBs? Name one other school that has had FOUR QB starters at any point this season. You completely downplay the reality, the NFL is a tough business; the chances for success are stacked against you, no matter what round pick you are or what college you played for. If you're a starter, that's an accomplishment on its own.

In the Draft i like Luck or Barkley for #1 overall but Kellen Moore is underrated on most peoples draft boards and Barkley will probably stay until his senior year. Landry Jones was highly overrated a lot of people picked him to be a heisman contender before the season started.

@DragonsKing91 I see where you come from, but have you evaluated *other* schools' production of QBs in sending them to the NFL? The problem is it's hard to find others who've sent as many QBs into the NFL as USC has in the last decade, so when they don't perform it's easy to assume they're all overrated. I think it's an unfair assessment because you ignore the other schools who don't send in any QBs, which is worse. If you looked at another team, you'd find fault if you look deep enough.

Plus not To many Quarterbacks can say they were a four year starter at USC. He has more PROs staying then going at this point. He is behind Landry Jones and Luck.
