Elephant Seal Vista Point, California, has elephant seals year round. Despite losing a lot of babies on the beach every year due to lack of communication, the elephant seal is doing well. Along the beaches of San Simeon, thousands of elephant seals rest during the molting season. They like to pack themselves tight, but then argue with each other about the overcrowded conditions.
