Interesting! Somewhat similar to the physical build of the Nux Modcore - can’t comment on the chips though. (Un)funnily enough, it was the clicky rotary select switch that failed on mine, even though it was a decent enough quality component (Alps if I recall correctly). Anyway, I replaced it with the same and all’s fine. Great pedals for enlivening cheap keyboards. Cheers!

I have a NUX TimeCore Deluxe and the NUX Time Force. They are very well made pedals. I suppose one day I should do a teardown of those. I have opened them up. I open up almost every new piece of equipment. It's a sickness :P I think I have the Metal Core, too, also a DSP pedal. I expected the Metal Core and the Time Core to be almost identical inside, but they're not. The additional RAM needed for the delays resulted in a very different layout.
