And the 2nd Caliph's companion on that journey to Quds was Kaab Al Ahbar, who used to be a Yemeni rabbi, pronounced the shahada in Madina al Munnevera, spread Israilliyat on the mimbar of Rusulallah sawa, and got to accompany the 2nd caliph to Jerusalem. They only refer to him as "servant" whilst talking about ibn Saba all the time!!!

Pseudo history. And drenched in religion, in a bad way. The story of Umar, Sophronius and the fall of Jerusalem to Islam is indeed impressive, inspiring, sad. But. The tone in this video is vaguely sickening. The narrator seems to believe he is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth, when the devil is very much in the details. First, this video is frankly intended to praise and inspire as it informs. It does none of these things effectively. Real history is set aside in pursuit of religious zealousness, not faith. The narrator seems clueless about what he is doing, seems to believe this is proper history when it is not. The narrative is backed by annoying hymns, over-the-top zealousness, no reference to the credibility of the sources, a grossly misleading representation of Jewish, Christian and Pagan history up to 637, and an implication that Islam is itself somehow innately superior. That's fine for entertainment, but not ok for serious history or even serious faith. It's also exactly the kind of thing that led to the Enlightenment. We need less of this and more rational and truthful discussion.

The only one to take part in every war without any hesitation. The only one to break the gate of Khaibar and conquered when 100 men could not. The prophet clearly told thousands of people at ghadeer e ghum that imam Ali is the true successor. The prophet said I am city of knowledge and Ali is the gate. The holy prophet’s legacy is running through Imam Ali’s children. The list goes on and on.
