In the beginning the graffiti and the filth was awful, but the farther you went it cleaned up. I like the street markets with the fresh veggies and fruit, some looked fresh and good while others looked quite old. And of course the bakery at the end, we think alike. lol

Very good. And this is what I posted on fB, when I shared this video, "The same person I post often. The neighborhood I've lived in for 35 years. As the republicans say, (and even some democrats, seriously) you can see it's a crime infested shithole, open air drug markets, unsafe to walk, ...human shit everywhere...heh.....look how clean the streets, are, DPW does a great job....... and great restaurants, produce markets every three blocks, great transit (relative to USA), and the most friendly people in the USA, outside I guess NYC boroughs. I post this, just to remind people, dense, even dangerous urban communities, with all the trouble, can be the most energizing and beautiful places to live. And the most important political organizing centers. At this point, the only reason I want to still live, is just to breathe among these strangers and neighbors. You just can't avoid brushing up against the best of humanity. Every day, over and over. It's better than art or songs. It's oxygen.

@@caliwalks still in mission, got lucky after Ellis act speculator destroyed three floor victorian for condos (13 people out)...and found affordable rent near 20th St. Also finally starting film, narratives and such, so when I get something done I will let you know....

Awful sights!! I got some relatives living in USA and they used tô say me about yours living standars have gotten worse .. It is inflation.. San Francisco now is a brazilian capital many years ago... It is bab cause gonna worse!!!

inflation has gone down. statistics show living standards have gone up. i'm not sure what you're referring to.
