My English is not good, but I want to say it from EXO-L perspective. First, EXO-L is always happy and thankful when idols talk about or dance cover EXO. Most of all, Stray Kids did a great job 8 members them very cool and talented. From Chan mention to D.O. on Vlive, Seungmin said Baekhyun as his role model and LEE KNOW said Kai as his role model since EXO's debut teaser and many times they listen EXO song, I realized that SKZ really respected EXO no less than other group.

I know I'm a stay but I have to admit that all the songs 8Kids have covered before are so good. I mean, while watching other groups cover other groups' songs, I usually felt like they lack something (but they're still good). But in the case of Stray Kids, they don't make me feel lacking at all, they are all chef's kisses

@@llawrencesmith5113 I think that’s what it is. Like, it’s just all the energy they put into their covers. Like, they don’t cover a song to try and be as matched and as good as the original cause for fans of the original song it’s such a high bar to meet and a lot of times no one can match that. Like they can’t give us the same energy/vibe/Magic BTS gives or like any other group does So instead they just stick to what they do best which is their own performance style and energy. They have such a distinct style of performance and when they cover songs sometimes they don’t change too much about the song but they somehow manage to make it seem super fresh and new and it sounds like it could be a Stray kids song cause they’re not trying to be or perform it like anyone else. I like that they’re authentic to themselves. It’s part of their charm.

I'M EXOL FOR MORE 6 YEARS AND STAY NEAR 2 YEARS still it feels like Dream and I can't believe skz did cover of CALL ME BABY the song made me Exol it make me emotional because it was my dream.. And my imagination became true in reality like I imagined HYUNJIN SHOULD BE KAI , Seungmin definitely baekhyun parts .. his role model han as chen ..leeknow as lay .. felix deep voice and chanyeol deep voice it's everything.. I can't say how many times I watched that harmonisation part look how seungmin proudly singing from his heart baekhyun part .. u know when it comes to vocals no one can like EXO but if u can cover like THIS IT'S MEAN YOU ARE VERY GOOD IN LIVE VOCALS SO AS EXOL I THINK SKZ COVER OF CMB WAS BEST COVER EVER

Stray Kids can do no wrong when covering songs. They demonstrate how hard they work when you see all the details they take into account and perfect in the song. They also genuinely respect the artists they cover so that the rendition is memorable. You see this in their cover of Dionysus by BTS and Bang Bang Bang by BigBang and now this incredible rendition of a classic EXO song. They make me very proud to be a STAY 🔥🥰❤️

‘Call Me Baby’ is my favourite EXO song so when i heard Stray Kids were gonna cover it, I was worried at first because lately people had been hating on some of the covers Stray Kids had done in the past but man I realised how dumb I was for worrying cause they absolutely devoured that cover. I was so proud watching the performance, it took me back to my exo-l days and idk why but i cried so hard after it😅

Wow this truly a blessing. I started kpop as an exol in 2017 and I’ve only been an exol until i meet stray kids in 2018. And this cover could not make me anymore happier. These are the only groups that have my whole heart. I would do anything for them. This cover is seriously too good ㅠㅠㅠ. I am stunned how skz always deliver and give justice to all the cover they do. So far from all the cover that skz has done, this is by far my favorite, it wasn't even an award show cover performance, the camera work didn't even give justice to their performance since they were performing for the audience not the camera coz it's a fan meeting. Despite the short amount of time they have to practice this song along with their other performances in the fan meeting, I'm so happy that they did very well. Of course original has a different effect, it's their own song and they practice this to perfection for their comeback so no wonder it's great plus that's exo.

It's been a year ( or even more !) That we don't get much news and contents from EXO. They also don't appear on music shows and awards shows as well .
