LYRICS Noose around my neck Kick the fucking chair out from under me Stab me in the back But tonight I got my blood on your new white T [?] Rip me off my skin Always being thought everything I did Ain't enough What the fuck is that shit? (What the fuck?) Left me alone and starving But now you wanna come and crash my party Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body Your heart's as black as coffee So who the fuck are you to sit and judge me Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body Drag me through the fire Your favorite thing to do is to watch me scream Baby you're a liar Tell me what I wanna hear to get me off my jeans [?] Rip me off my skin Always being thought everything I did Ain't enough What the fuck is that shit? (What the fuck?) Left me alone and starving But now you wanna come and crash my party Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body Your heart's as black as coffee So who the fuck are you to sit and judge me Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body We have so much history I can't take it with me I'd rather be six feet buried with my six-string Left me alone and starving But now you wanna come and crash my party Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body Your heart's as black as coffee So who the fuck are you to sit and judge me Over my grave, over my grave, over my Over my grave, over my dead body

All scenes are so good I can't pick just one. This video is my favorite.
@Itsjojo36262 жыл бұрын
Taking the pictures with you while killing you is my favorite scene because it just reminds me that “everything that you see on camera doesn’t do justice compared to what happens behind camera” this song has a way deeper meaning and I love that about your music. I get to theorize the music every time. I think the black rocks that go into the bowl is the life span or how much life you have to live so to speak kind of like the timer from an hour glass. The ending though is immaculate as you’re the one uncovering yourself from behind the mask. You put the pebbles or the rocks in the bowl yourself. You were watching yourself and counting the people that have killed you either by a lover, some sort of parental type figures, and a fan of yours. Even though you died, you were the one behind the evil happenings in the first place. Idk I’ll write more about my theory later. 😂 I have to go to work and listen to this in my car to really figure it out.
@CallMeKarizma2 жыл бұрын
THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!
@godjira632 жыл бұрын
Interesting theory i think I can agree. But it's too brutal for me. The music is 9/10.
@thejadedgeisha2 жыл бұрын
Wow. You stated everything I was noticing and added more so that now I want to watch it over again.
@Itsjojo36262 жыл бұрын
@@thejadedgeisha here’s my full theory: So here’s the thing. We have some sort of lover or partner stabbing you in the back. You have some sort of parental figures or guardians who strangle you while taking what looks to be a “family photo” and then we have a fan of yours who cuts your neck while taking selfie’s with you to later post somewhere like on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter or Snapchat (or all of them of course) then we have the pre-chorus that goes: Woah Throw me in the cold Toss me in the pit With the wolves Tear me to the bone Rip me out my skin It's getting old Always being told everything I did Ain't enough What the fuck is that shit? Maybe all of this ties In together. Maybe you were made to grow up too fast so everything hit you all at once. Growing up, getting a following, gaining fans and doing tours and shows. However, with you uncovering yourself as the person behind the mask is a metaphor kind of like when we would watch Scooby doo and how the “monsters” weren’t actually monsters, they were people. So maybe you’re the monster behind the mask because everything that you do might not seem like enough for your fans. Maybe you feel like you’re not doing enough for yourself either or anybody around you like your relationships with your partners or your family or even us (the fans) I still think that the bowl is some sort of life span or maybe not even that but more like “how much more can you handle before you explode into flames” you set yourself on fire at the end. Setting yourself on fire from what I could see is that it’s a metaphor for setting yourself free from your regrets in the past. If you think about it, the guy who basically was dying over and over again maybe kept making the same mistakes and wouldn’t learn or fight against those mistakes and therefore just kept resonating in the past. The guy behind the mask sets the guy on fire and walks away, uncovering his face in confidence no longer regretting what has happened and will go on in life trying to reach more and more goals, not to make everybody that can kill him easily happy but making himself happy as well. There’s my full theory I’m sorry it’s all over the place.
@thejadedgeisha2 жыл бұрын
@@Itsjojo3626 You definitely have a writer's mind and a researcher's heart. Yes. I believe all of what you said as a great perspective on all of his symbolisms in the song/vid. Also, I can see the stones as "you carry your emotional weight in stones" and he's releasing them into that bowl to show Himself And the universe that he can let them go. He's taken the tolls. The Burning is a release, but also it's a Witch/Phoenix symbol of dying and coming back stronger.

Each music video keeps getting more intricate and deep. I love the way you're able to reflect symbolism through both your lyrics and the visualizations that accompany them. Your voice is so incredibly unique and you're talent is underrated to say the least. I love watching just how far you've come as an artist - and it's even crazier to see how much you've developed as a person since I started supporting you. You did an incredible job with this Riz! I can't wait to see what you'll do in the future! ❤❤

I just got back from work. Karizma, the way you switch out of monotone with so much precision along with painting true emotions through your music is beautiful. You're honest with what you're going through "we have so much history, I can't take it with me, I'd rather be 6 feet, buried with my 6 string."
