This song is about telepathy with a ghost/spirit, and how we are never walking alone, but from the perspective of the ghost talking to a human being. Ghost (the band) is very cool. They are a less serious TOOL. I love their vibe and what they are trying to convey socially!

Ghost (the band) is parodying religion and bringing metaphysics into the forefront. Ozzy (and to a lessor extent Black Sabbath) did the same, but mostly Ozzy’s solo lyrics are more in that vein. Especially the songs Patient Number 9, Can You Hear Them, and See You On The Other Side.
