actually, if you look it up, Odin's father was a god but his mother was actually a Frost Giant. So technically Odin's half frost giant, and Thor's a quarter frost giant.. and he says in the first avengers scene that he is from Asgard, because he lived there basically all his life. but nice point, actually.
