Love this healthy dialogue regarding this bombshell topic- politics. I’ll say this with all due respect, that although I see both sides (two things can be true at the same time) at the end of the day if these are the only two candidates that have the highest probability/potential to win this next election over any other candidates that will be listed for president on the ballot to win, the vote couldn’t be anymore blatantly obvious. Which is for the one that is the better of the two evils. Anyway, thanks gents, until next Hump Day!!

Thanks for tuning in, as always! The decision in this election certainly feels obvious to many of us, but a lot of people are viewing it from Julio's perspective, so it's important we keep the conversation going!

@@TheRainbowCrossingPodcast My pleasure, thanks for spreading much needed love, light, laughter and learning! Agreed, only time will tell. But I’m big on manifesting- so it’s January 20th, 2025 and history has been made again, the Harris-Walz Administration have sworn in and begun continuing the good work forward towards progression because as they’ve stated during their campaign, “WE’RE NOT GOING BACK !!” #GOHARRIS2024 🗳️💙

Third party candidates won't be a viable option until there is ranked choice voting in our national elections.

Julio, I understand, empathize, agree and support your views and frustrations with our democratic political process with regard to implementing progressive policy - especially with regard to the truly horrific situation the Zionist state continues to inflict upon the Palestinian people. Alot of people feel the same. America is a complicated experiment that requires a nuanced approach to understand and deal with. That said, I would encourage us all who believe (idealistically and realistically) in peace, humanity and ultimately, love, to vote blue ALLL the way down the ballot. No candidate or party will satisfy every check on the progressive "to do" list. This presidential election is about protecting, preserving, maintaining and moving forward our fragile democracy. Period. Folks like us do it with our vote and micro-level conversations and activism. Our military do it with all the fierce fire power necessary - which, again can be complicated, yet necessary sometimes. We need both to keep ANY semblance of life as we now know it. The alternative is a kind of hell none of us want or are ready for. We can have our idealistic beliefs and do what's necessary to get us there one small annoying step at a time - but we have to do it together - even when we don't agree with everything a candidate or party stands for. The dems get on my nerves ALOT most of the time. Even still, don't know about you - but I ain't tryna walk around hearing people dressed like handmaids using state-sanctioned greetings like "Under His eye" and "May the Lord open". You guys are amazing with this podcast - I appreciate you both and so so happy that you're doing this work!!!💙💙💙💙💙🔥🔥🔥GO Kamala!!!

Thank you for your great and encouraging comments! Our democracy certainly does feel very fragile, doesn't it? Julio and Daniel continue to chat about the election every single day, so stay tuned as we get closer to the big day!
