I'm on this level now trying to get the Grizzled Veteran achievement. I'm at the part where you need to block the entry points and I haven't died once. I'll probably die a lot later on though. Good video.

I'm glad were finally in a game cause it's about time. This is a great mission to start with cause it was our last chance to take the Verrieres Ridge to keep the germans pushing back. I don't know if the complex in this mission was an actual thing that happened or if it represents a key position we captured; which is what Totalize's goal was intended to be. Does anyone know? I do know that this operations predesessor; Operation Spring was a failed mission like the Dieppe Raids were.

@RuntOfTheBatch No it's not. It's not like left as in your left hand. It's lieu-tenant. Could just depend on where you're from but everyone I know says it as lieu-tenant, not lef-tenant.

yes but British and Canadians armies are more closely linked together, shared the queen at the time, similar ideals, got influenced by the accent etc.

The flag that shows what army your fighting in had me confused untill i looked it up and saw that it was Canada. This is possibly the only time in a game you get to play in CoD as Canadians I wish there were more.

You know how in the British levels, the SAS and French Resistance were always at each other's throats even though they worked together? That's what I thought the Canadian levels would be like. The Ontarians and the Quebeckers pissing each other off, the Albertans refusing to take orders from the Ontarians, the Newfoundlanders doing things their own way. Maybe eventually they'd put aside differences, but in the beginning all of the prejudices they grew up with would play out immediately.

It's Call of Duty, it's not supposed to be realistic. The campaigns are all tall tales about basic infantry soldiers protected by plot armor who get put in amazing situations. Having the petty rivalries based on where you were born would add some humanity to the characters, and make them more interesting. It'd make for a better story I think.

I was in the Irish Army and we call it Left-Tenant The brits call it Left-Tenant The Aussies do The canadians do The South Africans do The New Zealanders do Anyone from those countries who call it Liue-Tenant are civvies and don't know what they are talking about. Believe me mate...it is Left-Tenant
