Uninspiring and uneventful map designs that encourage camping unseen in any cod in an attempt to move away from "3-lane maps". A third of said maps being recycled previous maps. Laughable anticheat system. Halve of the killstreaks are ineffective. No prestige. Snipers cucked. Rushers cucked. No data compression so filesize got ridiculously bigger every update elbowing out oldgen for more dull maps. Worse spawns than early cods like in this vid. No theater mode because fuck the commuinty. Main focus shifted to warzone because fuck the community. Stupid useless time spent making stupid useless items in the battle passes instead of fixing the game. Lobby separation every match. Dumb challenges for gun camos. Mini map cucked. And the creme of the crop, the literal in-game system that THROTTLES your fun and experience of the game...SBMM. I understand what youre saying and whiners can suck. But in this case the rose tinted glasses are not the issue. The consumers are unhappy and complaining because the product is lacking especially for a modern game from a company with their type of resources. Just look at activisions lawsuit. They don't care about getting the right people in their company. They won't grow or evolve. Just make half assed attempts every year. I will end it saying I DO like the loadout customization. I like the cross platform. And I like the the overall movement/gunplay, it feels crips. But unfortunately, that doesn't save the game for me.

@@Steck1235 idk some things here are deal breakers for some people but most of the things here really dont bother me except for the maps and sbmm,but still,mw is a game that clearly has A LOT of effort put into it,and people that say otherwise just really are complaining because "old cod better because its old".(Just wana clarify that its completely fine to not enjoy the game,and i can see why people wouldnt enjoy it,but its not fair to say no effort was put into it when in a decent amount of ways it does things better thans most if not all CoDs)

@@Steck1235 truly beautiful response all of my problems w mw in one comment imo I still loved it it's my most favorite cod and my most played however I will not deny any of it's concerningly high issues I think mw hit a new standard that these next cods like the infamous bocw have trouble sustaining that new standard went back to bo4 and I enjoy it 10x more than mw but again I love mw and I hate how cw pretty much downgraded what mw set for the new standard. Imagine if mw was better I think it would be one of the greatest cods. Anyway cheers to that response I 100% agree with you.

Cod4 is the best because of the simplicity, and map designs. MW 2019 was alright, not a fan of the maps on launch, gunplay was pretty good, not a huge fan of the large variety of gun customization. Not a fan of most of the skins. I prefer the old arena style feel of Cod4 and WaW for the same reason I like CSGO.

Back when Call of Duty was actually badass. Honestly a lot of factors play into what made this game experience so fun. The sounds of the guns, and they really felt like they held weight to them. Each one sounded a lot different and the snipers were super cool. The M40A3 was my favorite.

i began playing Call of Duty when parents first got me a laptop as a present for completing secondary school. I played a pirated Call of Duty 1, and then 2 , couldn't play 3 because it was for console, then COD4 and so on... When I first play Call of Duty 1 it blew my mind then, i've never played anything like it, the sounds the actions... By the time I get to play Call of Duty 4 i had ample amount of time getting used to the franchise, still COD4 got me. The story, the characters, the voice acting... COD4 sure is not the best FPS game, BUT the best feeling no other FPS game can give.
