I tried to hide behind the tree near where macmillan is. After the helicopter drop part there were about 50 guys trying to shoot me behind the tree, all spraying their AKs. Literally nothing but gunshots coming out as sound. At that point I just went prone and cried before like 10 guys ran up right up to me and executed me.

What I usually do on any mode especially on veteran mode is nick the g3 assault rifle and it gives extra rounds then, sneak behind the bumper cars and finally get to macmillian plus wreck the cars in front of captain macmillian using the pre planted c4 then, lie next to Mac while hurling flashbangs plus frags and pick up macmillian and everyone else is happy while the teams crew also helps

this part was brutal. Your guide certainly helped A LOT. I did find waiting until you have to take the guy to the helicopter and detonated the c4 at that point helped considerably and is how I did it. Also for anyone that is just now getting to this game like I am(I played modern warfare 2 and 3 and beat on veteran years ago funny enough lol), you can unlike some other comments stating otherwise, hit a checkpoint. I don't know what triggers the checkpoint(s) though. I presume blind luck by killing enough guys??? but overall his strategy of hiding behind that area works pretty well as long as you are diligent about sniping and not letting yourself get overrun because as we all know getting overrun on veteran = grenade spam.

13:17 Notice how Zevik cut a separate clip in here. Also, the helicopter distance goes down to 6671m and Zevik is looking forward. When the clip resets Zevik has already turned to the right before the helicopter distance even reaches 6681m. He definitely did not complete this mission on Veteran without dying.

Por mucho la mejor y más difícil misión de Call Of Duty de toda la franquicia. Desde que tenía 9 años trate de pasar esta misión sin éxito y eso que lo tenía en modo fácil. No logré pasarla puesto que mi XBox se averió y creí que nunca más volvería a jugarlo. No fue hasta mis 15 años que rente este juego una vez más en Play Station 3 y después de 6 años logré pasar la misión y con ello el juego que a mis 9 años no pude acabar, y no saben lo bien que me sentí cuando logré acabar el juego y la misión en Chernóbil. I've beat this on veterans without watching this video and i agree with everyone on this board. I died over 50 times on this mission. Too many soldiers and K9s, grenade spamming plus flash bang. Then you have to pick up the captain when the helicopter lands, and then you must go Rambo or commando because you have 30 sec. This definitely felt like COD WAW Veterans and the veteran difficulty in that game was hell. If it weren't for auto aim. SMH.

Just completed it, basically put a shitton of C4 around the LZ and camp by the bumper cars and do what he does, be sure not to stay in one spot to avoid grenades, once the helicopter is a few hundred meters away, throw as many flashes and grenades as you can and b line it to macmillan, once you pick him up you're pretty much in the clear

I played this level for 2 straight hours and STILL! COULDN'T get to the fucking helicopter. This and that stupid TV room mission can go to fucking hell. How is MW2 and MW3 1000x easier?!

on the tv room mission, just keep running outside the building then re clearing the first few rooms, eventually the bots stop spawning and when you get into the big tv room, rush behind cover and let your squad deal with the survivors.

+TheProgGuy When I go into the biggest TV room I usually run to the desk block which place is dead ahead of the door you entered. I quite far but I bet you can reach it before the enemy appears.

+TheProgGuy MW3 is easier but not MW2. I don't think you did MW2 on veteran or takedown wouldhave TAKEN YOU DOWN. Also what about only easy day was yesterday? And never forget LOOSE ENDS

Maverick McFarlane I feel you, man. That's why, after MW2, I never played Veteran again and stuck to Recruit. I don't care if it's too easy. I like it easy. I can play however I want. 'Sides, 'least I don't have to hide after one bullet, if I even survived.
