Truly such a shame how far ahead of its time this game was. Whenever I compare this game to modern games, I don't see why it got so much hate on its launch; after all, it doesn't stand out all that much from other modern games. Then I remember. I remember that this game came out in 2014. I remember that loot boxes were practically unheard of in games outside of CS:GO and TF2. I remember that Condrey was a shit community manager (but at least there was a community manager at all, which is more than I can say for some games of today). I remember that the movement was revolutionary to a fault, which is to say that it did too much and changed too much at one time for a lot of people to actually like it. I remember that the killstreak rewards in AW were admittedly weak, but killstreak rewards are basically exclusive to CoD nowadays anyhow. Basically, I remember that AW is a game released 7 years ago, despite the fact that it feels like it could've been made this year (and probably would've done a whole hell of a lot better if it *had* been released this year).

I’d love to see more Advanced Warfare content. Sequel and even prequel content would be nice. They planned for a Zombies mode sequel but it got cancelled I think.
