You are granted to option to either enable or disable the paintball effect, whilst disabled it is just normal blood.

Ehhh... I do like the jumping and improved manoeuvrability, and the weapon designs look nice. Graphically speaking it's been improved over its predecessors, but I don't think I'm interested enough to pick it up. Activision really did milk the series.
