Hey I’m really thinking about getting a quest 3 because of the option to play Xbox games. I’m just wondering, how is the lag when playing multiplayer games like this? Because obviously any lag would make a huge difference when it’s fast paced multiplayer.

With cloud there is always an inherent lag, and playing Xbox GamePass games on the Quest 3 is done via the cloud (does not connect to your Xbox). The lag is not terrible but for competitive / e-Sports games you may notice a difference. Single player games or offline games I think would be best for this application. You can get a good comparison if you play cloud games on the Xbox or PC because this app seems to connect the same way (it does not connect to your Xbox and play from there, like the PS Portal does with the PS5, for example). No, the GamePass app is on the Quest headset itself.

If you have a GamePass account, you can just download the app on the Meta Quest store and login there. I then plug my Xbox controller via USB C cable directly to the headset USB port on the side.
