Really goes to show that the older games actually cared about showing in game footage, rather than the over edited jargon of the newer call of duty’s today Edit: apparently I have a hot take, cool I guess. My point still stands, I’d rather be able to see real in game footage with HUD and all rather than it be edited to market it easier. Takes away from the real gp experience.

I remember watching Black Ops 1-3 so many times, I pretty much still have the memorized there wasn't a moment I didn't remember seeing, BO4 was around when I was starting to get burnt out on Call of Duty, Cold War brought me back a bit felt it was a step in the right direction, and so far Black Ops 6 is shaping up to get me sticking around more than a few months, have to see how the post launch content goes, but with Classic Prestige back it's definitely giving me more incentive to grind it out

We went from multiplayer games with actual character and atmosphere combined with actual gameplay in trailers to multiplayer games with zero soul and character in favor of ridiculous crossovers with anime, popstars and other wacky crazy shit. BO1's atmosphere and theme alone were different enough from MW2 to make it feel unique in its own way. These days the theme means nothing. Not asking for realism / milsim, but I'm asking for a MILITARY theme and stick to it

@@gamedose I mean yeah he is, i was laughing at him for making a whole essay for doing that. But jokes aside i do think call of duty needs to get back onto its roots and stick with its own theme like for example: Cold War, WW2, WW1, Modern Era, and etc. not saying bo6 will be bad since I have not played the open beta yet but it looks good in my opinion so far. I heard that they will only be doing collabs with skins if that makes them money which to me is a good and bad decision but I’m not going to argue or get into activisions greed fest and admit that they are a terrible company which I agree they are but it doesn’t mean that every COD is guaranteed bad, just play the campaign or something else because that’s what I mostly do sometimes with older and recent cods here and there. Anyway, everyone has there own points and good or bad criticism on things which his take is good but I’m not the one in control of the company so yeah. Cheers mate :)
