Lvl.5 Aether Shroud or Ring of Fire is highly recommended. Both have their uses. If you want damage then ring of fire is definitely the play. But level 5 Aether Shroud grants 2 charges at max and allows you to be invisible when active. I found for me that Ring of fire gets rid of enemies much easier but Aether shroud would have definitely helped a lot more in the escape scene. Good Luck.
