So it's not really some victory to have him block you or call you desperate, all you have to do is stream snipe him, which is a pretty lame thing to do in the vast majority of cases. I kind of prefer the position and aim focus of MWII, it's less frustrating to deal with and more skill based. It's far more comfortable from a skill based perspective. I wouldn't mind too much if they buffed sliding to be faster in general and add back shoot-slide, but slide cancel combos were frustrating. It just made it toxic af. Then again, I'm more biased to the position based, slightly slower playstyle of the older CODs. If I want insane movement, I'd just jump onto the Northstar Client for Titanfall 2

Slide canceling was stupid and shoulda been taken away. The problem is that dolphin diving isn't fast enough to do anything to save you and sliding is slow and doesn't let you hip fire while sliding. And snipers should absolutely be 1 shotting to the head.

I currenty redownloaded MW2019 and say what you want about it, but it was so fun and amazing. The graphics and animations were the first of its kind, the gunsmith was amazing, pretty good maps, the movement and just the charm of the whole game. We simply don’t have that with MW2022, especially as the graphics were imo downgraded (technically they were better but not as gritty and immersive) and the movement sucks. Great video!

Unironically the most fun i’ve had in COD over the past years was during Warzone 1 and MW2019 era of gameplay, the new gameplay and mechanics feels like they were trying to stray away from what made the fan base happy in order to appease to stock holders. Absolutely sticking to Warzone 1 and MW2019 even with the 80 FOV limitations on console.

I agree the movement system sucks a big one, but I sure don't miss how fast enemies can move. They already move too fast for someone who doesn't no life the game. So frankly, suck it you don't have slide cancelling or the ability to run circles around people with a stim. Only sweats seem to care, and you do fine enough without it as is. I already can't enjoy the game because I don't put it before any of my other games, so I'm glad this is just a sh*tpost and not an actual complaint.

I'd say hard-core would fix the issue but it must go deeper since it isn't that night and day of a difference

Honestly I love the bitterness of every sweat who can't handle not playing like a crack addict. Warzone 2 actually requies positioning and communication not just running around with a weapon and breaking ankles when there's just physically nothing the other person can do compared to now where all you have is some over powered weapons which we will always have. Plus no sniper just means not everyone is sniping so you won't just get 1 beamed from 200 meters cause haha instead you see people running say an rpk or a shotgun secondary or basically anything other than just a sniper which is great since honestly sweats loved snipers but if you had to go against a sniper it was just a nightmare.

There are other games that fit that playstyle better (or at least did) my problem with Cod, and pretty much all the large AAA Devs these days, is that the game feels soulless. There's no heart, it doesn't feel like they are made by players anymore but by an AI trying to engineer the most amount of playtime per session to max out profits and skin sales

Movement IS THE ISSUE, COD has ALWAYS been a fast-paced FPS. They're trying to cater to crowds outside of the core COD fanbase like Pub G players / Escape from Tarkov etc with slower more traditional game play and yet its back firing because player count is down and so is profits.... they wouldn't just revert a bunch of WZ2 changes back to WZ1 ways just because streamers and some people complained.

IIRC, the slide cancel and bunny hope were something that people keep asking for a big nerf in MW19 when it first came out because of how BS those things were - like on MW19 people kept asking for nerf - unable to ADS when bunny hop or slide cancel, or massive accurate nerf while doing those things. During MW 2019 I was called a camper because I said you could play aggressively in it due to the movement. In MWII I get called a gfuel snorting sweat because I say the movement has been neutered to the point it basically doesn't exist anymore. Such is the duality of the COD community. I just like a game where every playstyle is equally viable. Movement in MW2 makes me feel like a land whale waddling around. If the sliding and dolphin diving don't add anything to the gameplay (they literally don't because the actively put you at a disadvantage), just remove them from the damn game. Even the sliding in cod ghosts was more useful than the joke it is in MW2.

I'm just older and slower than I used to be, so the old movement in Warzone 1 just wasn't my thing. It's a military shooter where everyone moved like they were in lethal doses of speed, sliding and flying everywhere which was just.... it looked goofy as hell to me, BUT, I also understand it's not a milsim game and the mastery of that movement led to a very high skill ceiling.

Real cod players adapt. Most of these top streamers just started playing cod a few years ago. Everybody was complaining and begging cod to go back to boots on the ground type of gameplay. They did that, and people still complain...activision made a huge mistake giving these streamers a say and even as far as going to protect them knowing that many of them are cheating at some capacity(walls,aimbot,cronus,footpedal mods etc).

I know this is primarily about Warzone, but I don't play MW2 in general because the movement nerfs plus the fact that ghost has to be earned mid-match creates the worst gameplay I've ever experienced. If one person gets a UAV at the beginning of the game -- even if it's up for only one ping, they get a huge advantage which not only allows people to simply pre-fire corners, but sets them up to snowball killstreaks. Instead of nerfing UAV, they chose to nerf the only counter to it. It was a popular perk for a reason. Nobody likes being pre-fired.

The new AI Cheater detection software I am using shows 90% of players are using cheats and each player has a unique finger print which can prove it is the same player cheating in other games and changing account means nothing. Soon all cheaters will be banned. All streamers are cheaters 🙄
