Maybe not, but honestly this has to be the worst mission in the game. "Take down the officers first" with nothing to indicate who to shoot, the officers blend into the background, so you're literally listening to prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr for 10-15 minutes. It's not a fun experience, which is what games are supposed to be.

Fun fact since the original trilogy is basically the prequels to modern warfare since both eras are connected. You just met Makarov's grandfather in this mission.

I actually agree, we also saw Captain Price from Both this game and COD2, then later he died in a German Battleship in Norway, which he was the Grandfather of Price from The MW Trilogy.

As long as you don't kill the ones that show names when you aim at them, you can spend some time killing your own soldiers at red square with the sniper rifle, they keep coming until you kill the officers. Then you can collect the rifles they drop to get more ammo for your sniper. You don't really need that much ammo for the rest of the mission, but 10 year old me didn't quite understand that

haha, i remember blowing up the named ones and meleeing the unnamed ones until there were none of them left, then i continued on with the mission. good times at 8 years old, good times.
