Why build things to protect youself? The only thing you can build in Call Of Duty is "confidence". If you don't have the confidence to go face to face gun to gun, then you can't handle REAL battle royale games like PUBG or COD. If you want to build things Minecraft is the game for it. Battle Royale games are for shooting NOT for building.
