Fun fact: Sarah Schachner who composed wrote the music, also worked on original MW3 (2011) with Brian Tyler as an additional composer. She also worked on Far Cry 3, NFS: The Run with Brian Tyler. Recently Sarah left the project as she stated that the working dynamic with the audio director has become increasingly challenging and she doesn't see any path forward. She also says it's unclear whether the soundtrack will be released or not. She adds “what will be released on the soundtrack is not my artistic intent in regards to mixing and mastering.”

As a COD vet from the original trilogy that came out when I was 7 I gotta say this game felt more like a movie. We got classic 141 members and new guys in Alejandro and Rudy. And just the execution of this whole story was just phenomenal. Hats of to you IW to another good campaign, Sarah Schachner for stepping it up in the soundtrack which I’m sure will bring good future memories, and of course the devs and actors who put their blood sweat and tears into this game. The older COD’s showed the horrors of war mainly WAW hell even MW2019 had a message of us having to change the rules of engagement since it gets people killed and that we have to take the gloves off to fight on even ground with our enemies. MW2022’s message is a little vague however, I think it’s a similar message to the original with even our closest allies can betray us with a hint of the bonds that individual find in war best examples of this being Soap, Alejandro, Ghost, and Rudy. I know there are still some fans such as myself who still want games that Harmon back to the style of the original plot twists and all but only time will tell.

Sarah Schachner did an amazing job with the score for this game. Definitely one of the standout aspects for me. She had massive shoes to fill with the likes of hans zimmer doing the original mw2 soundtrack but she filled them perfectly. Super unique sound fits the narrative perfectly.

I really love Sarah Schachner's take on another MW 2019 thematic leitmotif, even so when the leitmotif from Picadilly Circus played. This track has "Sarah Schachner" written all over it, not because by using her own writing from the previous game, but adding her particularly exclusive Moog Synthesizer in the mix. That''s why most of you listeners are associating this theme with AC Origins, Anthem, AC Valhalla, and few other Sarah's compositions, because they have a similar instrument played as the vocal point. At first i was skeptical of how can they top Hans Zimmer's and Lorne Balfe's composition in the original MW2, sure it is still the best piece of soundtrack on video games in my opinion even until i write this comment. But then i realized, it doesn't have to be a bombastical blockbuster sounding to match them. If Sarah took a route writing MWII music style the same as the original, people would compare it big time to the original, but Sarah and the musical team knows best. You have Sarah with her own particularly unique take on music writing, then just go down with her style, so it would not be as "just the same", but it gives this reboot an identity, and kudos for her!

I honestly hope they keep this theme throughout the game's life cycle. It gives me goosebumps. As for the campaign it was worth every penny. Wonderfully crafted missions with elements from the last MW as well as new elements to the COD series as a whole, Great story too. Multiplayer BETA was pretty promising with issues in between. My first COD was MW3 and playing through 2019 and MW2 (2022) really showed me Price, Soap and Ghosts characters more then what I was introduced to and this is by far my favourite of all COD stories I’ve played

Bro playing the beta with this music in the main menu will always be a core memory for me. The beta was 5× better then the game is rn. Crazy how they took this epicness away from the main menu now. best fuckin mw music so far and ya cant even hear it in game anymore.
