The more I think about it, from MW3 onwards, cod never really had any absolutely broken weapon balance. Sure, each game had their own version of MP7/ACR sweats, but at a certain point you have to wonder if the most popular weapons and equipment are truly “overpowered” or if the qualities of their performance are just more popularly preferable to others. FPS players tend to choose the gun that is the most nimble (smg or ar for faster ads, sprint speed) and that is the most accurate. In the case of MW3, clearly the acr and mp7 take the cake, and it’s left to the outliers of preference for recoil, fire rate, mag size, etc to choose any other type of weapon. I remember being super purist about using guns that weren’t considered OP (think the AK, FAD, M16) and getting anal towards people that used suppressed acr and mp7 classes - but now I just regret letting this stupid ego complex getting in the way of being a better player.

gotta give you props the cm901 is considered the worst automatic ar stat wise and i think also too especially when you look at its stats it has the lowest rate fire 666 with a minimum of 3 shot a lot of ar also have a minimum of 3 shot but with faster fire rate

Would love to play this. I am only 17 but I am sick of these new games. COD MW II-III is just to freaking crazy. Fake gun names, insane movement mechanics, stupid operator skins like Meghan the Stallion. COD mw 2019 got pretty close to this kind of glory but now it’s just full of hackers and sweats. That’s why I liked war zone. Skill is important sure but tactics when it comes to moving around and maintaining a presence within a certain area is just as important if not even more important. (If you take a few pot shots at somebody usually they will push off you.) Teamwork to. I tried battlefield 2042 for a year and I liked certain aspects about it but it’s impossible to control the recoil on controller. They rushed the hell out of that game.
