Oh it is. As far as I know this is the only custom campaign for call of duty WAW, it's several hours long and has its own collectables you can view in the main menu, it's a great mod.

As a spanish person myself, I find this MOD hilarious. Some parts of the maps are very poorly made while others look very, very good but the thing that really takes me out of the game are the voices. Some are great and others sound very unconvincing and weird.

@SerbianLifter997 Sometimes the bad guy win. Honestly I think it was an important war. Potential for a story. At first Russia was getting their buttons kicked. Because of organized tactics. Ultimately strength in numbers snuffed out the Finnish Forces. Imagine a Halo Reach like story, where you do everything that is asked of you but you still loose. Or an empire strikes back situatio when the Finnish join the Nazis to fight the Russians. In the Continuation War. Loosing again. Just giving the watered down brief version. But alot happened. That war birthed the PPSh-41 for example. The Russians Copied the Suomi M-31 and simplified it. Fun fact, Christopher Lee fought in it.

Finland told them no. Not long after Russia was doing a "Military Exercise" at the border, then invaded. Sound familiar? No country is clean. Russia However is FAR from being the good guys. I don't believe in all these treaties either like NATO. Those are what lead to both world wars. The road to hell is paved with good intentions However. Ultimately it just drags countries into a war they really don't want to be in. Russia throughout history has shown complete disregard for even its own citizens basic needs. Due to corruption mainly. I know one of the devs in the mod team, he was and is a friend of mine since primary school and even kindergarden, when I discovered he and some folks did it I didnt believe it at first because the guy studied for Medicine and become a doctor and oh boy when I saw the gameplay... it was done in his free time I am not sure if for some of the guys's school project.

I am very glad the campaign lets you choose the side! The Spanish Civil War was a very complex conflict in its historical context and with an equally complex background, so I think it is unfair to depict it as a "good vs bad" conflict, like many people unaware of all the nuances is (from both sides). An impartial approach is the most objective one and best not to hurt anyone, so good job at that!

A great video and an excellent COD WAW spanish civil war mod (it feels like COD WAW, but with the spanish civil war scenario and battle stories and weapons), I had heard of the mod and if my memory is not wrong, even saw a little trailer of it. But now that I had seen the first mission, I can say that is a master piece (at some extend). P.S: will be also a republican campaign, or only the Franco campaign?, it would be interesting see the two campaigns like the other COD 2 spanish civil war mod.

Muy interesante que haya un juego sobre la guerra civil española. Sin embargo me parecio extremadamente confuso entender de que bando era el personaje. Primero, estaba en un pueblo republicano, y cuando los guardias le pidieron que se uniera a ellos el no se une sino que escapa y le dicen que es un fascista, por lo tanto asumo que el personaje principal es del bando nacional. Luego cuando esta en la pelea, ataca a soldados con boina roja (requetes) que son del bando nacionalista, se escuchan voces de "no pasaran" y "fascistas" por lo que asumo que el esta en el bando republicano. Luego se escuchan frases como "viva España", "por Dios y por España" que son frases utilizadas por los nacionalistas y que pareciera que viene de los camaradas que tienes a tu lado. Y despues dicen "a liberar Madrid y sus cautivos". Madrid era de los republicanos. Super confuso todo. Creo que mezclaron a los 2 bandos.

@@AFGuidesHD Gracias por tu respuesta. El juego es muy bueno, solo que me parecieron un poco confusos los bandos. Los boinas rojas eran los requetes que eran nacionalistas y nuestro personaje los atacaba, lo cual me parecio raro. Quizas en el bando republicano algunos tambien usaban boinas rojas, no lo se, pero los mas famosos eran los requetes. Despues se escuchaba por ejemplo "fascistas" y "no pasaran" muy fuerte, como si lo dijeran las personas que estaban a tu lado y no los enemigos que estaban mas lejos. Esas son frases republicanas. En el minuto 15:54 dentro de la trinchera nuestro personaje mata a un hombre e inmediatamente se escucha " toma eso fascista". Los fascistas eran los nacionalistas. Quizas solo fue casualidad y esa frase la dijo justo en ese momento alguien fuera de la trinchera. O sea, en resumen y como dije me parecio un poco dificil de entender en que bando estabamos peleando, pero me gusto mucho el juego en si. Muchas gracias nuevamente.
