Dearest Natasha,
We have been redeployed to the north. We are now temporarily attached to the 6th Guards Army and are headed for a town called Ponyri. I hear the fighting has been fierce. They are calling it the Stalingrad of Kursk. The commissars seem to like shifting us around like cattle; cattle being led to slaughter. I saw things at Cherkasskoye, things that I would soon like to forget. It is now clear to me what has hardened Antonov's face into a permanent grimace. I can only pray that my luck holds up.

• Mission Objectives:
- Take the rail station.
- Flank to the left of the rails.
- Eliminate the German sniper in the tower.
- Clear the rail station of German forces.
- Sweep the school and eliminate the machine gunners.
- Protect Semashko while he plants charges on the tank.
- Regroup with your squad.
- Eliminate the machine gun emplacement.
- Protect Semashko while he plants charges on the tank.
- Clear the town of German resistance.
- Clear the way to the factory.
- Get to the tractor factory.
- Assault the factory.
- Get to the top floor catwalks.
- Get the panzerfaust and destroy the tank.
- Eliminate all German resistance.
- Regroup with your troops.

I was pretty good at this game. I used to remove the crosshair on latter CODs for more "realism", I think in those 1st's Cod it didnt had this option The 1st Cod and this expansion pack is my favourity till now. Folowed by Cod 2(with world at war and black Ops coming right behind)

Beat COD1 without much trouble. The hurtgen forest and the V2 launch are my favs. Though i question why a tank would blow a hole in a wall, then NOT move. Kinda defeats the purpose of the hole. also, just what are they shooting at? invisible tanks?
