I love how they not only put a fucking F2000 into a fucking WWII game, but they didn't even bother to make the shells eject correctly. It has a tray offloading system so that the casings just gently fall out of the front of the gun, allowing the weapon to be ambidextrous and to not LITERALLY THROW SHELLS LIKE A REGULAR FIREARM.

I remembered when a gun specialist reviewed this game's most cursed weapon attachments onto a specific gun each and I stopped when he finished talking about an M1G with a Bipod and a drum magazine that featured a PING sound after the last bullet in the chamber. That's actually how the F2K ejects its cases, there's an ejection chute that extends to the front, and for chamber inspection there's a small door on top of the receiver just behind the sight rail

Sad how there's none of the more standard issue guns/better known guns, here ⚰ lies the FG-42, SMLE (Ik it's in the campaign, but there isn't one in mp), M1903 Springfield, M3 Grease Gun, MG-34, Walther P38, Carcano M1891, Breda M30, Nambu Type 99, Beretta M1934, Beretta M1938, MP-28, M1 Carbine, M1941 Johnson, M50 Reising, MAS-38, FM-24/29, MAS-36, Sterling, and many others. That was one of the few good ideas DICE brought to their Battlefront games; with modern graphics they could really go ham with kit-bashing guns together into custom blasters. For some reason, all the fast mags attachments in Vangaurd were updated to no longer reduce Ammo capacity, hence why the Thompson box mag now holds 50 rounds

So upon looking back at some of the beta reloads, particularly the Thompson cause I might've recalled that the fast mags previously had 30 instead of 50.. And many other SMG fast mags also having decreased capacity.. I have also noticed that they kept the Thompson -open bolt- instead in the beta. Have we regressed in both game balance and knowledge.

Vanguards story is Raul Mendez was in black ops 2 time and he got a time machine went to the future got a bunch of laser guns shipped it to modern time like 2020 got a bunch on f2000 guns and went back in time to the 40s and gave out laser guns and F2000s.

You know, tweaking the guns for gameplay purposes doesn't really bother me at all, but it's the small errors that really irritate me. Stuff like giving the guns silly names, cutting up the rear sights for no reason, and hearing invisible cartridge casings being "ejected" from revolvers after every shot. That's ignoring the fact that they added a laser rifle and a 2000s assault rifle to a WWII game. I'm glad this insult of a game is over.

They actually tried improving some errors with the M1 Garand like the player interacting with the mag release button and it no longer pings when a mag is attached lol defo a ww2 game😎😎

Does anyone else ever feel like the weapon recoil in vanguard starts before you even fire a round? Like especially with the full auto weapons, it seems like your weapons start producing recoil between the millisecond you pull the trigger, and before the rounds actually start firing.

CoD Online had the "FA-1911" which was a full auto version with a spare mag holder and stock. Pretty sure at least one Battlefield game also had an auto-converted 1911 (Hardline, maybe? I don't remember). And that's ignoring how full-auto 1911s do exist IRL
